In 2001, I apprenticed under Ernst Fuchs, working with him on larger paintings in his studios in Monaco and Castillon in the South of France. In the Spring of 2003, my wife and I travelled through Egypt, India, Nepal and Tibet. It was, essentially, a visionary journey through tombs, temples, statuary and remains - opening our eyes to the sacred images and ancient beliefs of these extraordinary cultures.
